Brief Introduction of Kaohsiung Dongguang Elementary School
In order to provide sufficient opportunities to the children residing in San- Ming district in Kaohsiung city, to reduce the density of students in nearby schools and to upgrade the quality of education, Dongguang Elementary School was established in Aug. 1986 under the supervision of the first principal, Mr. Jhih , Ying-Yi. The current principal, Ms. Ke , Hui-Lin, took office in Aug. 2016. Based on the holistic- education curriculum, children here grow and learn happily and healthily in a high-quality environment.
School Building and facilities
The campus is in a square totalling 4.5484 hectares on Huangsing Rd. There is a beautiful attraction Chengcing Lake which attracts many nearby residents and tourists. The campus is consisted of 6 buildings connecting together by corridors.
